Blades on trimmers are sometimes in need of replacement, especially if you use them intensively. After some time, they will become blunt and you will need to replace them (because they cannot be sharpened). Or maybe you had a clumsy moment and dropped your trimmer or one of the dogs you were grooming stepped on it. Whoops!
