Modern clippers often have a powerful motor which makes clipping faster. However, there is also a downside. When used intensively and for a long time, the clipper blades can heat up extremely quickly and become extremely hot. Hot clipper blades can irritate and even burn the dog's skin! Use Show Tech Instant Ice Blade Spray to cool down your clipper blades instantly.
It’s all in the details
Use instructions
Switch off the clipper and remove the clipper blade from the machine.
Take the attachment piece (in the form of a straw) from the cap, open the spray bottle and attach the straw to the nozzle. Spray directly onto the blades at 2-8 cm.
Do not spray onto the skin and keep out of reach of children.
Please note that the Instant Ice Blade Spray will not lubricate the clipper blade! It cools the blade instantly but will not oil it.
Hand stripping with a grooming stone is ideal when you don't want to damage the hair. The only downside to most grooming stones is that they leave visible grit in the coat. Unless, of course, you use the innovative Show Tech Groom Stones.
Finally, a grooming stone for every coat colour!
There is always some grit when plucking with a grooming stone. What is innovative and unique about these groom stones is that they are available in a variety of colours to match the different coat colours. As a result, any grit residue will be much less noticeable!
What's more, these groom stones are made of high-quality, 100% natural pumice stone that is particularly hard-wearing, making them last much longer than average.
With its elegant rectangular shape and rounded corners, the stone is easy to hold and work with. The homogeneous porous surface allows a better grip on the hair during hand stripping and the coat of, for example, a cocker or spaniel can be plucked without damaging it.

Scissors that are regularly used have a lot to endure. Hair, moisture and chemicals get stuck between the blades when cutting your dog’s hair. On top of that, the friction of the constantly moving blades can cause the scissors to squeak. This means that your scissors or shears no longer work as well as they should and that the screws and the scissors need oil.
Well-oiled grooming
Daily used scissors should also be oiled on a daily basis. To properly oil and to protect your valuable tools, we’ve designed the Show Tech Scissor & Shear Oil.
Use instructions
Before oiling, it is recommended to first remove all the hairs from the scissors.
After scissoring for on average 20 minutes, use a soft hairbrush like the Show Tech Sher Clean Brush to remove the excess hair from the blades.
Put a drop of oil on the pivot point near the screw on both sides. Make a few cutting movements with the scissors after oiling them. Always remove any excess oil left on the blades with a tissue to prevent soiling the dog’s clean coat. Do not use just any oil–only use special scissor oil!
